Brad is a licensed Civil Engineer with a BSCE from Gonzaga University, but after a few years working in that discipline in Denver, he returned to the PNW to earn a Construction Management certificate from the University of Washington and joined GLY in 2008. His technical engineering skills continue to serve him well in his role as a Senior Project Engineer. He excels in coordinating structural work and large tenant build-outs for healthcare, residential, hospitality, and office high-rise projects. Brad and his family spend their leisure time exploring the world and tackling daunting athletic challenges.

As Director of Interiors + Special Projects [ISP], Stephen oversees client service, operational excellence, and employee development for the GLY teams that specialize in renovation and tenant improvement work. He has 20+ years of experience in this environment, including alternative delivery for clients in K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, and Public Works. He is an ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor and holds a BS in Construction Management from Central Washington University. With GLY since 2018, he is known for his high energy and ability to juggle multiple commitments with ease while still making time to mentor and guide others. He is an active member of the South Sound community who enjoys spending time with family exploring the outdoors.

John Schimke

Director of Field Operations

Maintaining a personal philosophy centered on family and teamwork, John has skillfully delivered many high technology projects in his 30+ years in the construction industry. Having spent the majority of his career at GLY, he has led all operational aspects of a project from preconstruction planning through finished product. A mentor to our superintendents and crew supervisors, and creative problem-solver, John continues to infuse his projects with the highest and most innovative level of service.

Joe is a self-motivated, engaging and results-driven construction professional with over 30 years of planning, scheduling, value engineering, and estimating experience on high profile and complex construction projects. His years and variety of experience in the industry makes him a valuable member of the GLY team. He can tackle whatever scope of work is required. His work experience throughout the United States [OR, CA, NV, FL, MD, NJ, NY…to name a few] has taught him there’s no place like home. Joe has four children with his wife—and high school sweetheart—and loves to go hunting and fishing whenever he can.
