With over 40 years of experience in construction, Tony is a renovation specialist who works closely with our clients to tailor solutions to each project's unique goals and requirements. He's led projects at airports, hospitals, universities, fire stations, and everything in between. Safety is always his top priority, especially in occupied, sensitive spaces where the comfort of patients and staff is paramount.
Erik Bedell
Director of MEP Services
P.E.
Erik uses his extensive engineering background to assist with integrating mechanical systems into new and existing buildings. With many years of designing mechanical systems under his belt, he’s proven to be an invaluable asset to our clients—specializing in complex life science, technology, industrial, and healthcare projects. Erik previously lived in Colorado, where he developed an obsession for mountain biking. Now racing competitively, he and his family own 12 bikes, living the principle that the correct amount of bikes to own is n+1, with n being the amount of bikes they currently own.
Stephen Robeson
Director of ISP

As Director of Interiors + Special Projects [ISP], Stephen oversees client service, operational excellence, and employee development for the GLY teams that specialize in renovation and tenant improvement work. He has 20+ years of experience in this environment, including alternative delivery for clients in K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, and Public Works. He is an ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor and holds a BS in Construction Management from Central Washington University. With GLY since 2018, he is known for his high energy and ability to juggle multiple commitments with ease while still making time to mentor and guide others. He is an active member of the South Sound community who enjoys spending time with family exploring the outdoors.
Israel Bolechala
General Foreman
Israel brings over 20 years of experience in commercial construction, tenant improvements, and healthcare environments, managing complex projects from bid through closeout. A proud member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America, Local 360, Israel values craftsmanship, accountability, and teamwork on every jobsite. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, camping, traveling to support his children’s club lacrosse, and has a lifelong connection to the trades, with all of his brothers also working in construction. He also played collegiate football at California Lutheran University and later for the Pierce County Bengals.
Mike Martel
Project Executive

Mike joined GLY in 2013 as a Project Engineer and has steadily increased his responsibilities, becoming a Project Manager in 2020. He holds a BS in Construction Management from the University of Washington, where he later returned to earn a Commercial Real Estate Certificate. That’s just one example of Mike’s passion for continuous learning—and sharing with his teammates. He’s especially versed in the latest developments in 3D modeling and navigating the complex processes of advanced BIM visualization. After a long week at work, Mike burns off steam by running, cycling, and skiing.
Danielle Sessler

Construction was always part of the plan for Northwest native Danielle, having grown up in a family that owned a contracting business. She took a few detours first, earning a BFA in Metalsmithing and Art History from Central Washington University and working as a Senior Estimator focused on honing her preconstruction services skills. When she landed at GLY in 2013, we quickly recognized her background would be perfect for Design-Build projects. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys hiking, bouldering, climbing—and collecting “odd things that most people scratch their heads over.”
Steven Siler

Steven is a detail-oriented professional known for his resourcefulness, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication across diverse teams. With experience leading work, maintaining schedules, and overseeing quality assurance, he brings a well-rounded, hands-on approach to every project. Steven’s career began with lutherie—the art of crafting stringed instruments—which sparked his passion for woodworking and led him to run a custom cabinet business in Arizona for over a decade. After relocating to the Seattle area, he joined the Carpenters Union in 2016 and continues to build a career grounded in craftsmanship and service. Outside of work, Steven is an accomplished musician who plays drums for the Seahawks [while playing a wide variety of other instruments at home as well] and has traveled to over 24 countries.
Tess Wakasugi-Don

Tess has built her career at GLY, from humble beginnings as an intern, advancing steadily to a promotion in 2019 to firm principal. She is a dedicated, selfless leader who pays careful attention to every project’s specific vision, technical complexities, and goals. Tess is very effective at coordinating the efforts of design professionals, construction teams, corporate stakeholders, and owners while integrating various service providers into project delivery. She chairs GLY’s internal DEI committee, which focuses on social equity education, employee engagement, and strategies to improve diversity and inclusion on GLY’s projects. Her three young sons inspire her daily to feel empowered, to work hard, and to make time for fun.

As a decisive person with a positive and open-minded attitude, Amereo enjoys the everyday team collaboration. As a General Foreman, Amereo makes good job-site morale and cohesive team environment a priority. He finds joy in seeing the building team bring a client’s vision to life from start to finish. At home, Amereo enjoys tackling small projects and spending time with his family. Fun fact: Amereo is a twin!
