

Assistant Yard Superintendent
Since joining GLY in 2010, Nate has been a valuable member of our Tool + Equipment Yard team, playing an integral role in the smooth operation of our projects. In addition to his supervisory duties, Nate also supports projects through GPR scanning services. Outside of work, Nate enjoys spending time with his wife and two adult children. He is passionate about all types of outdoor activities, particularly those shared with his family.

Stephen is one of our Interiors + Special Projects [ISP] team leaders, overseeing renovation and tenant improvement work in multiple market sectors. He is an ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor and holds a BS in Construction Management from Central Washington University. With GLY since 2018, he is known for his high energy and ability to juggle multiple commitments with ease while still making time to mentor and guide others. He is an active member of the Puyallup community who enjoys spending time with family exploring the outdoors.

With over 13 years of experience in construction—much of it focused on healthcare—Jon brings a practical, solutions-driven mindset to every project. Known for his strong work ethic and passion for building both on and off the job site, he combines technical expertise in civil and project engineering with hands-on know-how. Jon excels at resolving complex construction challenges, aligning design intent with client expectations, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget. His deep understanding of the unique demands of healthcare construction adds value at every phase. Outside of work, Jon channels that same problem‑solving mindset into DIY projects with his wife, son, and daughter, and enjoys staying active through skiing and hiking.

Tess has built her career at GLY, from humble beginnings as an intern, advancing steadily to a promotion in 2019 to firm principal. She is a dedicated, selfless leader who pays careful attention to every project’s specific vision, technical complexities, and goals. Tess is very effective at coordinating the efforts of design professionals, construction teams, corporate stakeholders, and owners while integrating various service providers into project delivery. She chairs GLY’s internal DEI committee, which focuses on social equity education, employee engagement, and strategies to improve diversity and inclusion on GLY’s projects. Her three young sons inspire her daily to feel empowered, to work hard, and to make time for fun.

MEP+CX Manager

Bryce is a mechanical systems and commissioning expert and a self-described Swiss army knife. He gets involved during preconstruction assisting with MEP scopes of work. During construction, he becomes hyper focused on QA/QC processes and procedures. On the back end of the job he develops closeout and inspection schedules and plans for startup and commissioning. He is a passionate alumnus of Washington State University, where he studied Construction Management, and minored in Business. His wife, two kids, two dogs, and Macaw parrot keep life busy but fun. Their latest achievement? Building a house together!

A healthy dose of serendipity led Melanie from the Peace Corps third world to the A/E/C integrated world, where she discovered a love for working with the people behind the concrete. Nearly 20 years later, she is contributing and receiving ideas and inspiration for marketing, communicating, and developing business as the Director of Marketing + Communications at GLY! A self-described thinker, linker, and obstacle shrinker, Melanie likes to approach her work with these three questions: Who is our audience? What do they need? How can we reach them and develop trust?
Project Engineer
Sean recently joined GLY after completing two internships which gave him firsthand experience on high-stakes projects in the construction industry. With a degree in Construction Engineering Technology, he brings a solid foundation of technical knowledge and hands-on experience to his role as Project Engineer. In this capacity, he handles key responsibilities in trade management, overseeing work scopes, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and supporting project scheduling and budgeting. A Kirkland native, Sean enjoys spending his free time on Lake Washington, hitting the golf course, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Human Resources Director
With over 20 years of experience spanning construction, retail, and hospitality, Annika has mastered the art of building and maintaining a positive, inclusive work culture that fosters employee well-being and engagement. Holding a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing, Management, and Entertainment from the University of Montana, Annika brings a blend of creative problem-solving and innovative strategies to her role at GLY. When not at work, she can be found enjoying the outdoors, attending concerts, or cheering at sporting events. Growing up playing softball and spending five years managing, assisting, and playing on the company coed softball team, Annika knows how to bring people together — both on and off the field. As the youngest of six, her experience with juggling multiple personalities is put to good use in HR! Annika is also a proud supporter of Sawhorse Revolution, the AGC Education Foundation, and JDRF Beat the Bridge.
