Construction was always part of the plan for Northwest native Danielle, having grown up in a family that owned a contracting business. She took a few detours first, earning a BFA in Metalsmithing and Art History from Central Washington University and working as a Senior Estimator focused on honing her preconstruction services skills. When she landed at GLY in 2013, we quickly recognized her background would be perfect for Design-Build projects. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys hiking, bouldering, climbing—and collecting “odd things that most people scratch their heads over.”

Demetrios Stamatakis

Senior Project Engineer

Known for his unwavering ability to always follow through, Demetrious is motivated by a determination to deliver the best end result to clients. As a Senior Project Engineer, he is organized, proactive, and committed, and finds great reward in his ability to solve the daily challenges that this industry brings. Outside of work he is equally as driven. As a second-generation Greek American, Demetrious has been heavily involved in the Greek church and Greek Language School. He has backpacked across Asia, hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, and, when he's not busy with the responsibilities of parenthood, enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and skiing throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Laura Ovsak

Project Manager

RA, AIA, LEED Green Associate

Laura joined the GLY team in 2017 after spending five years with architecture and engineering design teams. Her varied design experience provides a deep understanding of the design process, and a fluency in the design language. Having worn many hats at GLY, she has developed a diverse skillset, carrying many projects through their phases. Laura recently completed the process of becoming a licensed architect!

Stephen Robeson

Director of ISP

CHC

As Director of Interiors + Special Projects [ISP], Stephen oversees client service, operational excellence, and employee development for the GLY teams that specialize in renovation and tenant improvement work. He has 20+ years of experience in this environment, including alternative delivery for clients in K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, and Public Works. He is an ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor and holds a BS in Construction Management from Central Washington University. With GLY since 2018, he is known for his high energy and ability to juggle multiple commitments with ease while still making time to mentor and guide others. He is an active member of the South Sound community who enjoys spending time with family exploring the outdoors.

Brian Sandall

Superintendent

LEED Green Associate

Brian’s 30+ year career includes many of GLY’s most recognizable healthcare projects. He will do whatever it takes to keep clients happy and is known to keep a stash of chocolate hard hats on hand for hospital staff just in case. If you’ve ever met Brian, you know he operates under the Golden Rule every single day, making him a favorite to work with. Brian spends many weekends looking for a thrill—from riding off road on the dunes with his wife and son to taking flight lessons—with no plans to slow down any time soon.

Luke McArthur

Assistant Superintendent

Luke brings a diverse construction background that spans structural and civil project management, hands-on carpentry, and a passion for design and constructability. As Assistant Superintendent, he enjoys tackling challenges, improving processes, and helping teams deliver successful projects from start to finish. A U.S. Navy veteran, Luke enjoys archery hunting, snowboarding with his sons, paddleboarding, camping, and spontaneous weekend getaways with his wife.

Monty Kilcup

Principal

Monty brings tremendous energy and ingenuity to his clients. He built his career at GLY by delivering creative, value-based preconstruction services, and accurate, timely estimating based on his deep knowledge of current market unit pricing and trends in commodity pricing. Monty works closely with an agile group of construction management, design, and craft professionals who flex to the ever-evolving needs of a project. He is a specialist in the occupied environment, always thinking outside project confines to develop innovative solutions.

Dan Frye

Layout Superintendent

Dan is GLY’s go-to guy for anything and everything relating to site surveys and layout. As a consummate team player and expert on layout technology, Dan is responsible for not only planning and coordinating project needs with superintendents, but also for training and educating the GLY Layout Crew and helping The Yard with long range equipment planning. When he’s not out in the field, Dan is 100% family man, spending as much time with his wife and kids as he can.
