As Director of Interiors + Special Projects [ISP], Stephen oversees client service, operational excellence, and employee development for the GLY teams that specialize in renovation and tenant improvement work. He has 20+ years of experience in this environment, including alternative delivery for clients in K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, and Public Works. He is an ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor and holds a BS in Construction Management from Central Washington University. With GLY since 2018, he is known for his high energy and ability to juggle multiple commitments with ease while still making time to mentor and guide others. He is an active member of the South Sound community who enjoys spending time with family exploring the outdoors.

Danny Skwarski

Senior Project Manager

Danny thrives in the fast-paced world of construction, where no two days are the same and every project brings a new challenge to solve. He enjoys tackling the technical complexities of each job and finding solutions that keep projects moving forward. He channels the focus and drive that project management brings into his hobbies as well, as he has spent 20+ years in combat sports, motorcycling, and golfing. A proud father of twin daughters, Danny has become an expert in negotiation, multitasking, and conflict resolution, and spends much of his free time supporting their many hobbies + interests.

Luke McArthur

Assistant Superintendent

Luke brings a diverse construction background that spans structural and civil project management, hands-on carpentry, and a passion for design and constructability. As Assistant Superintendent, he enjoys tackling challenges, improving processes, and helping teams deliver successful projects from start to finish. A U.S. Navy veteran, Luke enjoys archery hunting, snowboarding with his sons, paddleboarding, camping, and spontaneous weekend getaways with his wife.

Laura Ovsak

Project Manager

Laura joined the GLY team in 2017 after spending five years with architecture and engineering design teams. Her varied design experience provides a deep understanding of the design process, and a fluency in the design language. Having worn many hats at GLY, she has developed a diverse skillset, carrying many projects through their phases. Laura recently completed the process of becoming a licensed architect!

Sean Royal

Project Engineer

Sean recently joined GLY after completing two internships which gave him firsthand experience on high-stakes projects in the construction industry. With a degree in Construction Engineering Technology, he brings a solid foundation of technical knowledge and hands-on experience to his role as Project Engineer. In this capacity, he handles key responsibilities in trade management, overseeing work scopes, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and supporting project scheduling and budgeting. A Kirkland native, Sean enjoys spending his free time on Lake Washington, hitting the golf course, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Steven Bradshaw

Project Manager

Steven was on the move for much of his childhood. Born in Germany and raised in Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, and Washington, Steven learned to embrace new environments early on. He now thrives on meeting new people, leveraging the diversity among various backgrounds, and working together to find solutions. Steven earned a BS in Construction Management from Washington State University and now looks for opportunities to mentor college and high school students interested in a similar educational and career path. When the sun breaks through, he hops on his bike, works in the yard, plays football, and tries to improve his golf game.

Chris Kelley

Project Manager

Chris is a key player on our Interiors + Special Projects team [ISP], collaborating closely with stakeholders and trade partners in sensitive healthcare and life sciences environments. Before moving to the Northwest, he worked on several notable projects in Oregon and California. As a Project Manager, Chris specializes in detailed estimates, trade partner management, and ensuring high-quality, safe, and organized field delivery. Outside of work, he’s an avid backpacker, hiker, dog lover, kayaker, and camper. Fun fact: while attending the University of Texas at Austin, Chris was a member of the Caretaker and Handler team for Bevo, the university’s live longhorn steer mascot!

Mike Martel
