A Colorado native, Candace obtained her law degree from Loyola University in New Orleans. After Hurricane Katrina, she found good prospects out West practicing construction law – making her a valuable asset to our risk management team.

After 35+ years working in the built environment, Dave knows how to plan, estimate, and deliver just about anything. He manages healthcare and life science projects and is also known to step in when high-tech or corporate office projects have unique requirements. He holds a BS in Building Construction from the University of Washington, and an ASHE Health Care Construction certificate. A local in every sense of the word, the bays and rivers of the PNW are his playground. When the catching’s good [as it often is for Dave], he makes a killer canned smoked salmon.
Jason brings over 22 years of experience to GLY, adding substantial value to his projects and staying busy with the construction of new YMCAs, hotels, educational and civic projects, office and retail renovations, and DBIA certification. Jason is known for his commitment to work collaboratively with our clients, design teams, and subcontractors to provide workable solutions. A sports and fitness enthusiast, Jason enjoys exercising, football, baseball, basketball, and going home to his wife Alisha + three kids.

In the short time Benji has been with GLY, he has already distinguished himself as a hardworking and reliable team player who is continuously learning all he can. He is often the first to arrive and last to leave—by choice!—as he truly enjoys his work and is always willing to take on new challenges and push himself to keep learning and growing. Benji can also often be found biking and enjoying the outdoors.
Adam has extensive experience in the industry, gaining valuable insight from working in various roles: carpenter, surveyor, estimator, and project engineer. He also draws on his military experience to bring honesty, integrity, and sound judgment into day-to-day project management. As a FAA part 107 certified drone pilot, and expert in emerging XR technologies, Adam is pioneering GLY’s research and development in advanced technologies, looking for solutions with job site applicability. When Adam isn’t working or spending time with his wife, he taps into his artistic side by drawing, painting, printmaking, playing guitar, and songwriting… just to name a few!
Truly a developer’s contractor, Monty brings tremendous energy and ingenuity to his clients. He built his career at GLY by delivering creative, value-based preconstruction services, and accurate, timely estimating based on his deep knowledge of current market unit pricing and trends in commodity pricing. Monty works closely with an agile group of construction management, design, and craft professionals who flex to the ever-evolving needs of a project. He is a specialist in the occupied environment, always thinking outside project confines to develop innovative solutions.

Steve feels at home with just about everyone. In his view, working with field crews, subs, engineers, architects, clients and “our first-class teams” makes each day unique. His 25+ years with GLY encompasses a wide range of market sectors, from fast-paced, ground-up construction of new office buildings to roadway and utility projects, garage structures, and challenging phased renovation work for educational facilities. He delivers predictable results every time and cultivates a strong team atmosphere focused on quality and superb customer service. Besides loving his job, he’s an inspiring volunteer, mentor, football fan, outdoorsman and family man.
Stephen is one of our Interiors + Special Projects [ISP] team leaders, overseeing renovation and tenant improvement work in multiple market sectors. He is an ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor and holds a BS in Construction Management from Central Washington University. With GLY since 2018, he is known for his high energy and ability to juggle multiple commitments with ease while still making time to mentor and guide others. He is an active member of the Puyallup community who enjoys spending time with family exploring the outdoors.

Erik uses his extensive engineering background to assist with integrating mechanical systems into new and existing buildings. With many years of designing mechanical systems under his belt, he’s proven to be an invaluable asset at GLY—specializing in complex commercial, industrial, medical and biotech projects. Erik previously lived in Colorado, where he developed an obsession for mountain biking. Now racing competitively, he and his family own 12 bikes, living the principle that the correct amount of bikes to own is n+1, with n being the amount of bikes they currently own.
