On each project, Tim facilitates unique and team-oriented solutions to challenges that support the success of the entire team—owner, architect, tenant, and adjacent stakeholders, making him a trusted and respected leader whose industry relationships continue well beyond project completion.

Janine Messina

Marketing Manager

Janine feels at home in the world of marketing since it combines her passion for art, writing and graphic design with her natural ability to organize, strategize, and analyze. While she enjoys her day-to-day responsibilities, facing new challenges, and the many opportunities to apply her creativity, her favorite part about her job isn’t even marketing-related; she loves working with people and getting to know everyone in the company top-down—from estimating to IT to the hundreds of hard-working craftspeople out in the field.

Sean Royal

Project Engineer

Sean recently joined GLY after completing two internships which gave him firsthand experience on high-stakes projects in the construction industry. With a degree in Construction Engineering Technology, he brings a solid foundation of technical knowledge and hands-on experience to his role as Project Engineer. In this capacity, he handles key responsibilities in trade management, overseeing work scopes, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and supporting project scheduling and budgeting. A Kirkland native, Sean enjoys spending his free time on Lake Washington, hitting the golf course, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Bill Tshudy

General Foreman

A true self-starter, Bill's claim that he can fix just about anything is backed by a lifetime of hands-on experience. His passion for building began at age 8, assembling bicycles, and continued through his teenage years, when he built cars and fabricated metal frames. By 21, he had entered the trades, laying the foundation for a successful career in construction supervision. Outside of work, Bill enjoys fishing and traveling the world with his wife.

Jeff Angehrn

Senior Construction Engineer

Jeff’s building career began in 1995 and he’s simply one of the best when it comes to complex structures; it’s been said that he’s memorized every detail of every sheet of every project he’s worked on. Plus, he’s repeatedly recognized by his teammates as an exceptional mentor. He holds a BS in Construction Management from Central Washington University. Off the jobsite, Jeff’s an adventurous spirit who enjoys time with family and friends, traveling, boating, snowmobiling, off roading, fishing, and hunting in the remote wilderness.

Laura Soma

Sustainability Manager

LEED AP BD+C, LFA

It’s no wonder that Laura’s passion is helping people find their potential. She’s worked hard to creatively forge her own career path and achieve her goals. She is active in a number of industry groups and peer networks focused on green building and leads GLY’s internal sustainability efforts. Her background as a Project Manager allows her to connect with clients and project teams to drive sustainability project goals while keeping budget and schedule at the forefront. Laura brings her love of responsible practices [and infectious good spirits] to every project.

Cameron Cole

Senior Project Engineer

A Bellevue native, Cameron built the foundation for his career through several internships at GLY and earning a BS in Construction Management from Weber State University. His project experience thus far has focused on downtown Bellevue, including the Lincoln Square Expansion and West Main mixed use development. Off the jobsite, he’s an avid outdoorsman – hunting, fishing, skiing, and backpacking – and volunteering as a member of the King County Search and Rescue team. He recently stepped up to serve on the Coal Creek YMCA board of advisors.

Kevin Eng

Chief Estimator

LEED AP BD+C, Associate DBIA™

Kevin praises the aspect of GLY’s culture that provides a variety of paths for diverse abilities and personalities to flourish. Hired on as a Project Engineer, his exceptional preconstruction planning and cost estimating talent quickly developed. As our Chief Estimator, he provides 24 years of building experience and practical knowledge of construction methods, materials, resources and LEED criteria. A generous mentor and creative thinker, Kevin gets involved to guide and directly support estimating efforts on varied and complex projects at GLY.
