Kyle joined the GLY team immediately after earning a BS in Construction Management from the University of Washington in 2006. His honesty and affability have been a mainstay, and he takes a forthright approach to resolving issues and ensuring client satisfaction. After all these years, he still looks forward the unique challenges that come with each individual project and appreciates that no two days are ever alike. While things keep him on his toes at the jobsite, Kyle unwinds by listening to his favorite CDs and records or going to live concerts. Music just sounds better when it’s an experience!

Josh Lewis

Senior Project Manager

Organized, decisive, and driven, Josh approaches every project with a clear understanding of the client and company’s needs. His favorite part about his position is that no two projects are every alike, as he is a person who enjoys overcoming the hurdles of a project from start to finish. Quite fitting to his problem-solving nature, he enjoys classic games that require lots of thought and strategy, from chess to backgammon to cribbage. Outside of work he also stays busy coaching youth baseball, softball, basketball, and his son’s Little League All-Star Team, who made it to the State Championship in 2024!

Anita Phonexayphova

Senior Design Engineer

Anita began her career in architecture and has since migrated to the construction world where she enjoys collaborating with design teams and subcontractors to work through constructability issues while achieving design intent. She employs advanced technologies throughout a project’s lifecycle from early design estimates to virtual project handover and closeout. Anita also supports our project teams by coordinating MEP and running clash detection.

Joaquin Aburto

General Foreman

Joaquin approaches each day on the jobsite with a people-first attitude, emphasizing the importance of a collaborative team culture in finding efficient solutions and creating a learning environment for everyone. One of his favorite aspects of construction is that he leaves each workday having learned something new from his teammates. When he’s not out in the field, you can find Joaquin adventuring in the PNW with his 5 kids.

Reed McNulty

Superintendent

Ever wonder if a Superintendent gets tired of scheduling? Just ask Reed! After more than 37 years in the industry, he still loves solving each new puzzle. A GLY veteran with a deep resume, he’s done it all from high-tech office buildings to heavy site civil work—mentoring up-and-coming field supervisors along the way. Outside the jobsite, he works on his collection of muscle cars and unwinds in the outdoors with fishing and hunting.

Garth Stoppard, Jr.

Superintendent

As a second generation carpenter, Garth turned out to be a Jr. in more ways than one. Today Garth is a hard-working Superintendent who enjoys building challenges across sectors, from housing to commercial construction. Garth takes a very thorough, caring approach to getting things done on his projects, and enjoys the outdoor life in his spare time—especially riding dirt bikes, camping or doing anything on or near the water.

Jose Ramos

Superintendent

Jose manages the day-to-day activities of a construction site with an infectious positive, can-do attitude. Jose’s obvious dedication to his work, the team, and the client makes him a valuable, well-respected, and influential leader on the jobsite

Amy Bergman

Project Executive

With GLY since 1999, Amy has managed projects in all sectors and of all sizes. This versatility is what helps her guide teams in keeping the end goal in mind while addressing day-to-day challenges and complex problem-solving. She is an alumnus of the University of Washington with a BS in Construction Management and Minor in Architecture, has served on the board of her local YMCA, and is active in NAIOP and CREW. After work, Amy chases two very active children and the lifelong task of home remodeling.
