Brad is a licensed Civil Engineer with a BSCE from Gonzaga University, but after a few years working in that discipline in Denver, he returned to the PNW to earn a Construction Management certificate from the University of Washington and joined GLY in 2008. His technical engineering skills continue to serve him well in his role as a Senior Project Engineer. He excels in coordinating structural work and large tenant build-outs for healthcare, residential, hospitality, and office high-rise projects. Brad and his family spend their leisure time exploring the world and tackling daunting athletic challenges.

Brian Sandall

Superintendent

LEED Green Associate

Brian’s 30+ year career includes many of GLY’s most recognizable healthcare projects. He will do whatever it takes to keep clients happy and is known to keep a stash of chocolate hard hats on hand for hospital staff just in case. If you’ve ever met Brian, you know he operates under the Golden Rule every single day, making him a favorite to work with. Brian spends many weekends looking for a thrill—from riding off road on the dunes with his wife and son to taking flight lessons—with no plans to slow down any time soon.

Kyla Grennan

Business Development Manager

Kyla brings over a decade of experience in commercial real estate and building services. Since 2014, she has helped drive growth through strategic planning, creative thinking, and a passion for building lasting relationships. Known for her attention to detail and client focus, Kyla is trusted by teammates, clients, and partners alike. Her collaborative approach and commitment to innovation make her a key member of our Marketing and Business Development team.

Outside of work, Kyla enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Lincoln. She's an avid fan of live music and outdoor concerts, always up for a local adventure or cheering on the Mariners and Seahawks! She also enjoys traveling and hitting the golf course whenever she can. Kyla is a longtime member of the Washington State Society for Healthcare Engineering (WSSHE), where she currently serves on the Board of Directors.

Cesar Torres

CFO

As a natural strategist with an adept financial insight, Cesar contributes immensely to the long-term success and profitability of GLY. As our CFO, Cesar oversees all accounting, financial reporting, and risk management functions. He partners closely with executive and operational leadership to drive financial performance, support strategic growth initiatives, and ensure strong fiscal stewardship across the organization.

Cesar spent more than 25 years in the construction industry before joining GLY, and values working in an industry that builds tangible, lasting structures. Outside the office, he is deeply family oriented–no small feat with more than 100 first cousins! Cesar spends much of his free time visiting family, playing sports with his kids, and volunteering within his community.

John Schimke

Director of Field Operations

Maintaining a personal philosophy centered on family and teamwork, John has skillfully delivered many high technology projects in his 30+ years in the construction industry. Having spent the majority of his career at GLY, he has led all operational aspects of a project from preconstruction planning through finished product. A mentor to our superintendents and crew supervisors, and creative problem-solver, John continues to infuse his projects with the highest and most innovative level of service.

Grace Kim

Design Engineer

Grace approaches design with a big-picture perspective while ensuring constructability through careful attention to detail. Grace is passionate about the intersection of design and construction, continuously learning how each can strengthen the other to deliver quality outcomes. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, walks around Green Lake, cheering on the Mariners [and Shohei Ohtani], and has even soared through the Austrian Alps and worked at the Space Needle during college.
