Executive Administrator
Excellent customer service comes naturally to Cassie, who approaches every task with a can-do attitude. As Executive Administrator, she enjoys working with people that encourage her and test her limits but allow her to have fun along the way. She manages her time—and many others’—with extraordinary ease and keeps things running like a well-oiled machine. Outside the office, you’ll find Cassie hiking, exploring the city, and when the sun comes out, boating on Lake Washington—all with her husband and pups by her side.
Project Manager
Noah started his construction career in 2007 first as a Laborer and then a Finish Carpenter before earning a BS in Construction Management from Washington State University. He also holds a Real Estate Development Certificate from the University of Washington. After joining GLY in 2014, he worked primarily on commercial office projects before becoming a Project Manager on our Interiors + Special Projects team [ISP]. His unique background gives him the ability to understand every aspect of a project regardless of size or scope. He is always up for a challenge—just ask him about his latest extreme ironing endeavor.
Principal | Life Sciences
As GLY’s life sciences market leader, Jim’s devoted over 30 years to helping clients align their life saving missions with the built environment. He's mastered the art and science of this dynamic and ever evolving market – providing planning and construction leadership for highly specialized laboratories, vivariums, clean rooms, supporting office space, educational auditoriums, and areas for rest and recharging. Some of his notable major building projects include the new 200,000 square foot clinic expansion for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in South Lake Union, and the Vue Research Center. A principal of the firm since 2003, Jim is a strong advocate for progressive approaches, and enjoys partnering with multi-disciplinary teams in technically challenging environments. He’s served on multiple boards and professional committees focused on continuous education and advancing safety and operational excellence in the construction industry.
Senior Construction Engineer
Jeff’s building career began in 1995 and he’s simply one of the best when it comes to complex structures; it’s been said that he’s memorized every detail of every sheet of every project he’s worked on. Plus, he’s repeatedly recognized by his teammates as an exceptional mentor. He holds a BS in Construction Management from Central Washington University. Off the jobsite, Jeff’s an adventurous spirit who enjoys time with family and friends, traveling, boating, snowmobiling, off roading, fishing, and hunting in the remote wilderness.
General Foreman
Elie feels at home taking leadership on her jobsites, working with a team-first attitude, taking pride in the lasting relationships she builds with her colleagues, and ensuring everyone knows the great value of their contributions. Being a firm believer of “work smarter, not harder”—Elie addresses problems critically, always searching for ways to improved solutions and streamline processes through LEAN principles to reduce labor while simultaneously improving quality and minimizing errors. You can also find Elie feeling very much at home on skiis, her standup paddleboarding, and hiking + backpacking on the weekends.
Risk+Administrative Services Manager
Lauren spent the first ten years of her career working in the legal arena, starting out in the public sector, then transferring to the private. She now splits her time at GLY between supporting the risk management department and providing high-level administrative support to the executive team. Lauren and her family are sports fanatics and spend most weekends rooting for the Huskies and Seahawks. When they aren’t cheering on their teams, they spend as much time outside as possible: camping, fishing, hiking or enjoying walks with their rescue dog, Harry.

Mark’s involvement in problem solving while delivering large and complex projects has earned the trust of many prominent clients. His focus is ensuring that the technical business and the people business sides of the firm mesh to create a powerful suite of services. Over the last two decades, he supported vital transformative projects in South Lake Union and downtown Seattle’s retail core. With over 30 years of experience, Mark’s strategic management, understanding of logistics and high-tech construction, and client service skills helped GLY earn the business of prominent Northwest clients.
