Katie ventured west from Missoula, Montana to attend Central Washington University where she majored in recreation and tourism and played softball. We love having a ringer on the GLY softball team! When she’s not managing the books for GLY projects she likes to golf, hike, go wine tasting, and watch the Mariners. Her bucket list includes a trip to every MLB stadium, minus Yankee Stadium.
Tess Wakasugi-Don

Tess has built her career at GLY, from humble beginnings as an intern, advancing steadily to a promotion in 2019 to firm principal. She is a dedicated, selfless leader who pays careful attention to every project’s specific vision, technical complexities, and goals. Tess is very effective at coordinating the efforts of design professionals, construction teams, corporate stakeholders, and owners while integrating various service providers into project delivery. She chairs GLY’s internal DEI committee, which focuses on social equity education, employee engagement, and strategies to improve diversity and inclusion on GLY’s projects. Her three young sons inspire her daily to feel empowered, to work hard, and to make time for fun.
Bryce Engen

Bryce is a mechanical systems and commissioning expert and a self-described Swiss army knife. He gets involved during preconstruction assisting with MEP scopes of work. During construction, he becomes hyper focused on QA/QC processes and procedures. On the back end of the job he develops closeout and inspection schedules and plans for startup and commissioning. He is a passionate alumnus of Washington State University, where he studied Construction Management, and minored in Business. His wife, two kids, two dogs, and Macaw parrot keep life busy but fun. Their latest achievement? Building a house together!
Stephen Robeson

As Director of Interiors + Special Projects [ISP], Stephen oversees client service, operational excellence, and employee development for the GLY teams that specialize in renovation and tenant improvement work. He has 20+ years of experience in this environment, including alternative delivery for clients in K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, and Public Works. He is an ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor and holds a BS in Construction Management from Central Washington University. With GLY since 2018, he is known for his high energy and ability to juggle multiple commitments with ease while still making time to mentor and guide others. He is an active member of the South Sound community who enjoys spending time with family exploring the outdoors.
Erik Bedell
Director of MEP Services

Erik uses his extensive engineering background to assist with integrating mechanical systems into new and existing buildings. With many years of designing mechanical systems under his belt, he’s proven to be an invaluable asset to our clients—specializing in complex life science, technology, industrial, and healthcare projects. Erik previously lived in Colorado, where he developed an obsession for mountain biking. Now racing competitively, he and his family own 12 bikes, living the principle that the correct amount of bikes to own is n+1, with n being the amount of bikes they currently own.
Ruby Kahnberg
Project Engineer
Ruby brings a well-rounded perspective to her role as a Project Engineer, combining an academic background in architecture and construction management with hands-on experience working for electrical contractors. She is passionate about the built environment and values the balance between thoughtful design and practical constructability. Outside of work, she enjoys embroidering, thrifting, dancing, and sketching around the Seattle are – often finishing her drawings over a glass of wine.
Amy Bergman

With GLY since 1999, Amy has managed projects in all sectors and of all sizes. This versatility is what helps her guide teams in keeping the end goal in mind while addressing day-to-day challenges and complex problem-solving. She is an alumnus of the University of Washington with a BS in Construction Management and Minor in Architecture, has served on the board of her local YMCA, and is active in NAIOP and CREW. After work, Amy chases two very active children and the lifelong task of home remodeling.

Tyler’s leadership has guided some of GLY’s most complex and transformative projects—from integrated hospital expansions to urban highrise developments. His commitment to client advocacy and team empowerment continues to inspire innovation and elevate performance across the organization.

Janine feels at home in the world of marketing since it combines her passion for art, writing and graphic design with her natural ability to organize, strategize, and analyze. While she enjoys her day-to-day responsibilities, facing new challenges, and the many opportunities to apply her creativity, her favorite part about her job isn’t even marketing-related; she loves working with people and getting to know everyone in the company top-down—from estimating to IT to the hundreds of hard-working craftspeople out in the field.
