As Director of Interiors + Special Projects [ISP], Stephen oversees client service, operational excellence, and employee development for the GLY teams that specialize in renovation and tenant improvement work. He has 20+ years of experience in this environment, including alternative delivery for clients in K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, and Public Works. He is an ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor and holds a BS in Construction Management from Central Washington University. With GLY since 2018, he is known for his high energy and ability to juggle multiple commitments with ease while still making time to mentor and guide others. He is an active member of the South Sound community who enjoys spending time with family exploring the outdoors.
Caitlin Eckert

Bringing a personable and bubbly attitude to project teams, Caitlin has no trouble connecting with any kind of client, owner, or architect. She finds the variability of a Project Engineer’s day-to-day to be fascinating and especially values her time on site which gives her a visual understanding of her work and the project as a whole. Driven by the same sense of curiosity and adventure outside of work, Caitlin stays very active with a variety of hobbies. When she is not trail running, skiing, or climbing, you’ll find her sewing winter adventure hats and hanging out with friends.

A healthy dose of serendipity led Melanie from the Peace Corps third world to the A/E/C integrated world, where she discovered a love for working with the people behind the concrete. Nearly 20 years later, she is contributing and receiving ideas and inspiration for marketing, communicating, and developing business as the Director of Marketing + Communications at GLY! A self-described thinker, linker, and obstacle shrinker, Melanie likes to approach her work with these three questions: Who is our audience? What do they need? How can we reach them and develop trust?
Steven Siler

Steven is a detail-oriented professional known for his resourcefulness, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication across diverse teams. With experience leading work, maintaining schedules, and overseeing quality assurance, he brings a well-rounded, hands-on approach to every project. Steven’s career began with lutherie—the art of crafting stringed instruments—which sparked his passion for woodworking and led him to run a custom cabinet business in Arizona for over a decade. After relocating to the Seattle area, he joined the Carpenters Union in 2016 and continues to build a career grounded in craftsmanship and service. Outside of work, Steven is an accomplished musician who plays drums for the Seahawks [while playing a wide variety of other instruments at home as well] and has traveled to over 24 countries.
Cassie Withrow

Excellent customer service comes naturally to Cassie, who approaches every task with a can-do attitude. As Executive Administrator, she enjoys working with people that encourage her and test her limits but allow her to have fun along the way. She manages her time—and many others’—with extraordinary ease and keeps things running like a well-oiled machine. Outside the office, you’ll find Cassie hiking, exploring the city, and when the sun comes out, boating on Lake Washington—all with her husband and pups by her side.

Anita began her career in architecture and has since migrated to the construction world where she enjoys collaborating with design teams and subcontractors to work through constructability issues while achieving design intent. She employs advanced technologies throughout a project’s lifecycle from early design estimates to virtual project handover and closeout. Anita also supports our project teams by coordinating MEP and running clash detection.
Luke McArthur
Assistant Superintendent
Luke brings a diverse construction background that spans structural and civil project management, hands-on carpentry, and a passion for design and constructability. As Assistant Superintendent, he enjoys tackling challenges, improving processes, and helping teams deliver successful projects from start to finish. A U.S. Navy veteran, Luke enjoys archery hunting, snowboarding with his sons, paddleboarding, camping, and spontaneous weekend getaways with his wife.
Dan Frye
Layout Superintendent
Dan is GLY’s go-to guy for anything and everything relating to site surveys and layout. As a consummate team player and expert on layout technology, Dan is responsible for not only planning and coordinating project needs with superintendents, but also for training and educating the GLY Layout Crew and helping The Yard with long range equipment planning. When he’s not out in the field, Dan is 100% family man, spending as much time with his wife and kids as he can.
