Firm Elevates from Within to Support Continued Growth and Market Excellence
BELLEVUE, WASH. – September 23, 2025 – GLY Construction (GLY), is proud to announce the promotion of three of its principals into key leadership roles, reinforcing the company’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and client service across the Pacific Northwest.
Tim Campbell has been promoted to Executive Vice President and joins GLY’s Executive Committee, alongside President + CEO Tyler Tonkin, CFO Joe Bonacci, and Executive VP Bill DeJarlais. Tim also assumes oversight of GLY’s Interiors + Special Projects (ISP) department following the upcoming retirement of longtime ISP Director Dave McGovern on October 31. Tim’s promotion reflects his deep connection to the ISP department, which played a formative role in his career. He will continue to work closely with Project Executives Troy Alexander, Stephen Robeson, and John Voorhees—a trusted leadership team within ISP—ensuring continuity, collaboration, and shared success.
“I am thrilled to provide leadership for the department that was so influential in shaping my career at GLY,” said Campbell. “GLY ISP is an incredible component of our business that will continue to grow and serve our clients for years to come.”
Bryan Haakenson has been promoted to Principal, Operations. A Northwest native and University of Washington graduate, Bryan joined GLY in 2000 and has led projects for Microsoft, Google, and Emerald Communities. Known for his collaborative leadership style and deep commitment to community-centered construction, Bryan will work closely with salaried and craft team members, human resources, safety, and the tool and equipment yard to strengthen GLY’s culture and operational excellence. He will continue providing leadership for the firm’s Senior Living market sector and Sustainability Advocacy Group.
“I’ve always enjoyed the people that make GLY a great place to work, learn, and grow,” said Haakenson. “I’m looking forward to growing our people, honing our best practices, and continuing to deliver exceptional services to our clients for decades to come.”
Jeff Crawford has been promoted to Principal, Healthcare + Life Science succeeding Jim Elliott, who retires at the end of the month. Jeff joined GLY in 2006 and has played a pivotal role in delivering some of the firm’s most complex healthcare and life science projects, including Overlake Medical Center’s multi-phase campus redevelopment. He is currently leading Snoqualmie Valley Health’s new Ambulatory Services HUB. With a background in architecture and a passion for patient-centered design and critical environment work, Jeff brings deep technical expertise and a client-first mindset to his new role.
“I have dedicated the majority of my career to building healthcare and life science facilities that serve our communities,” said Crawford. “I’m excited to continue GLY’s tradition and expand our impact in this vital market sector.”
These promotions reflect GLY’s intentional and well-planned leadership transition strategy, ensuring continuity and alignment with the company’s Vision, Purpose, and Values. Each leader brings a proven history of success in both project and team leadership, and their expanded roles position GLY for continued growth and innovation.
