BELLEVUE, WASH. – August 10, 2026 – GLY Construction [GLY], a locally owned general contracting firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Cesar Torres as Chief Financial Officer.
Torres brings over 26 years of construction finance experience to GLY, most recently serving as Finance Business Partner at Mortenson since 2017. In this role, he managed accounting functions, provided financial leadership, and served as a key business partner to operating groups.

A graduate of Central Washington University with a BS in Accounting, Torres also serves as Vice President and DEI Champion for the Puget Sound Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association [CFMA]. His expertise spans work-in-progress reporting, percentage-of-completion accounting, capital investments, and strategic financial planning.
