Stephen is one of our Interiors + Special Projects [ISP] team leaders, overseeing renovation and tenant improvement work in multiple market sectors. He is an ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor and holds a BS in Construction Management from Central Washington University. With GLY since 2018, he is known for his high energy and ability to juggle multiple commitments with ease while still making time to mentor and guide others. He is an active member of the Puyallup community who enjoys spending time with family exploring the outdoors.

Amy Bergman

With GLY since 1999, Amy has managed projects in all sectors and of all sizes. This versatility is what helps her guide teams in keeping the end goal in mind while addressing day-to-day challenges and complex problem-solving. She is an alumnus of the University of Washington with a BS in Construction Management and Minor in Architecture, has served on the board of her local YMCA, and is active in NAIOP and CREW. After work, Amy chases two very active children and the lifelong task of home remodeling.
Nate Hill

Nate is a skilled Senior Project Safety Manager who embraces the exciting and beautiful opportunities life offers. He enjoys PNW summers, spending his time camping, wakeboarding with his two sons, and diving—he is a certified diver in the Seattle area, Hawaii, and Central America. It comes as no surprise that Nate loves animals as well. At home, he cares for five wiener dogs [Dixon, Marley, Mini‑Moo, Bean Dog, and Savannah], two cats [Cosmo and Jack], and a sassy 28‑year‑old Norwegian fjord named Tym. His love for animals doesn’t detract from his love for people; in fact, his favorite part of working in the A/E/C industry is the interesting and diverse group of individuals he gets to meet every day.
Joaquin Aburto

Joaquin approaches each day on the jobsite with a people-first attitude, emphasizing the importance of a collaborative team culture in finding efficient solutions and creating a learning environment for everyone. One of his favorite aspects of construction is that he leaves each workday having learned something new from his teammates. When he’s not out in the field, you can find Joaquin adventuring in the PNW with his 5 kids.
Tony Fontanez

With over 40 years of experience in construction, Tony is a renovation specialist who works closely with our clients to tailor solutions to each project's unique goals and requirements. He's led projects at airports, hospitals, universities, fire stations, and everything in between. Safety is always his top priority, especially in occupied, sensitive spaces where the comfort of patients and staff is paramount.
Melanie Cochrun

A healthy dose of serendipity led Melanie from the Peace Corps third world to the A/E/C integrated world, where she discovered a love for working with the people behind the concrete. Nearly 20 years later, she is contributing and receiving ideas and inspiration for marketing, communicating, and developing business as the Director of Marketing + Communications at GLY! A self-described thinker, linker, and obstacle shrinker, Melanie likes to approach her work with these three questions: Who is our audience? What do they need? How can we reach them and develop trust?
