As an Executive with a career spanning over 30 years across a wide spectrum of market sectors, Bill enjoys helping our highly capable builders lean into their relationships and take the responsibility needed to help our clients and partners succeed. Trained in architecture, he’s sustained an appreciation for design and has helped advance internal tools and technologies that help make GLY more proactive partners through every facet of a project’s life cycle. Today, Bill supports our Preconstruction + Estimating, VDC, and Marketing + Business Development teams and serves several community organizations focused on Education. He’s an avid cyclist, gardener, and family guy.
Elie Egan
General Forewoman
Elie feels at home taking leadership on her jobsites, working with a team-first attitude, taking pride in the lasting relationships she builds with her colleagues, and ensuring everyone knows the great value of their contributions. Being a firm believer of “work smarter, not harder”—Elie addresses problems critically, always searching for ways to improved solutions and streamline processes through LEAN principles to reduce labor while simultaneously improving quality and minimizing errors. You can also find Elie feeling very much at home on skiis, her stand up paddleboard, and hiking and backpacking on the weekends.
Stephen Robeson
Project Executive

Stephen is one of our Interiors + Special Projects [ISP] team leaders, overseeing renovation and tenant improvement work in multiple market sectors. He is an ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor and holds a BS in Construction Management from Central Washington University. With GLY since 2018, he is known for his high energy and ability to juggle multiple commitments with ease while still making time to mentor and guide others. He is an active member of the Puyallup community who enjoys spending time with family exploring the outdoors.
Nate Downs
Assistant Yard Superintendent
Since joining GLY in 2010, Nate has been a valuable member of our Tool + Equipment Yard team, playing an integral role in the smooth operation of our projects. In addition to his supervisory duties, Nate also supports projects through GPR scanning services. Outside of work, Nate enjoys spending time with his wife and two adult children. He is passionate about all types of outdoor activities, particularly those shared with his family.
Laura Ovsak

Laura joined the GLY team in 2017 after spending five years with architecture and engineering design teams. Her varied design experience provides a deep understanding of the design process, and a fluency in the design language. Having worn many hats at GLY, she has developed a diverse skillset, carrying many projects through their phases. Laura recently completed the process of becoming a licensed architect!
Erik Bedell
Director of MEP Services
P.E.
Erik uses his extensive engineering background to assist with integrating mechanical systems into new and existing buildings. With many years of designing mechanical systems under his belt, he’s proven to be an invaluable asset to our clients—specializing in complex life science, technology, industrial, and healthcare projects. Erik previously lived in Colorado, where he developed an obsession for mountain biking. Now racing competitively, he and his family own 12 bikes, living the principle that the correct amount of bikes to own is n+1, with n being the amount of bikes they currently own.
Sean Royal
Project Engineer
Sean recently joined GLY after completing two internships which gave him firsthand experience on high-stakes projects in the construction industry. With a degree in Construction Engineering Technology, he brings a solid foundation of technical knowledge and hands-on experience to his role as Project Engineer. In this capacity, he handles key responsibilities in trade management, overseeing work scopes, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and supporting project scheduling and budgeting. A Kirkland native, Sean enjoys spending his free time on Lake Washington, hitting the golf course, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
