Adam has extensive experience in the industry, gaining valuable insight from working in various roles: carpenter, surveyor, estimator, and project engineer. He also draws on his military experience to bring honesty, integrity, and sound judgment into day-to-day project management. As a FAA part 107 certified drone pilot, and expert in emerging XR technologies, Adam is pioneering GLY’s research and development in advanced technologies, looking for solutions with job site applicability. When Adam isn’t working or spending time with his wife, he taps into his artistic side by drawing, painting, printmaking, playing guitar, and songwriting… just to name a few!
With GLY since 1999, Amy has managed projects in all sectors and of all sizes. This versatility is what helps her guide teams in keeping the end goal in mind while addressing day-to-day challenges and complex problem-solving. She is an alumnus of the University of Washington with a BS in Construction Management and Minor in Architecture, has served on the board of her local YMCA, and is active in NAIOP and CREW. After work, Amy chases two very active children and the lifelong task of home remodeling.
Lauren spent the first ten years of her career working in the legal arena, starting out in the public sector, then transferring to the private. She now splits her time at GLY between supporting the risk management department and providing high-level administrative support to the executive team. Lauren and her family are sports fanatics and spend most weekends rooting for the Huskies and Seahawks. When they aren’t cheering on their teams, they spend as much time outside as possible: camping, fishing, hiking or enjoying walks with their rescue dog, Harry.
Mohammed’s building career began in the United Arab Emirates where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the American University of Sharjah. He worked on several projects in the area ranging between mixed use, commercial and infrastructure sectors. Mohammed is an intrinsically detail-oriented team-player, and always emphasizes proactive planning on his projects. He exercises these same skills on the field while playing his favorite sport: soccer!
Construction was always part of the plan for Northwest native Danielle, having grown up in a family that owned a contracting business. She took a few detours first, earning a BFA in Metalsmithing and Art History from Central Washington University and working as a Senior Estimator focused on honing her preconstruction services skills. When she landed at GLY in 2013, we quickly recognized her background would be perfect for Design-Build projects. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys hiking, bouldering, climbing—and collecting “odd things that most people scratch their heads over.”
Janine feels at home in the world of marketing since it combines her passion for art, writing and graphic design with her natural ability to organize, strategize, and analyze. While she enjoys her day-to-day responsibilities, facing new challenges, and the many opportunities to apply her creativity, her favorite part about her job isn’t even marketing-related; she loves working with people and getting to know everyone in the company top-down—from estimating to IT to the hundreds of hard-working craftspeople out in the field.
Maintaining a personal philosophy centered on family and teamwork, John has skillfully delivered many high technology projects in his 30+ years in the construction industry. Having spent the majority of his career at GLY, he has led all operational aspects of a project from preconstruction planning through finished product. A mentor to our superintendents and crew supervisors, and creative problem-solver, John continues to infuse his projects with the highest and most innovative level of service.
