Current + Upcoming Construction Activities

The following construction activities will be occurring throughout the month of December:

  • Courtyard scaffold erection
  • Structural dowel installation along the 1925 West and East elevations
  • Mortar removal at the 1925 West, South, East, and Connector elevations
  • Masonry pinning on the 1925 West, South, & East elevations
  • Tuck-pointing at the 1925 West, South, & East elevations (weather dependent)
  • Steel bracing installation at the 1925 West Finials and the 1925 East parapet
  • Prep work for the steel erection within the 1925 Towers
  • Interior Finish removal on level 3 of the Connector interior
  • 1925 copper ridge-crest restoration
  • Bird Deterrent mockup placement for UW review
  • 1925 East parapet cap removal and doweling
  • 1925 Roof waterproofing & slate $le installation
  • Masonry cleaning at the 1925 NE and Courtyard elevations

Upcoming Milestones

  • January 2nd: Complete scaffold erection within the 1925 / 1935 Courtyard
  • January 15th: Begin mobilizing within the Smith Room
  • January 26th: Complete scaffold erection on the 1935 South Elevation
