Rowley Properties, VIA Architecture, and GLY broke ground on 2005 Poplar in Issaquah on Thursday, August 15. The four-story, 70,000 square foot office building , which is part of Rowley’s larger Hyla Crossing, will be complete next fall.
GLY has a long-standing involvement with Forterra so when the opportunity surfaced earlier this year to join them for their mass timber event, we jumped on it!
The 2005 Poplar building incorporates a number of unique design elements including CLT, a glass-enclosed stairway that illuminates at night, light fixtures made of recycled cardboard, and a sculpture of a buck with a bit of a history.
