Seattle Cancer Care Alliance [SCCA] broke ground on a new six-story, 150,000 square-foot outpatient cancer treatment clinic on its South Lake Union Campus. The largest single construction project in SCCA history, the new building will feature a patient-centered design, highly specialized treatment clinics and state-of-the-art procedure suites to expand and enhance SCCA’s services and advance its ability to deliver world-class cancer care and conduct cutting-edge research.
The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance [SCCA] announced the start of its 150,000 square-foot outpatient cancer treatment center on its South Lake Union campus. Connected via skybridge to its existing treatment center, the new tower will be the largest single construction site project in the alliance’s history.
The 2.6 acre “Beach” at Expedia Group’s new campus on the shores of Seattle’s Puget Sound is open to the public. Though intended for outdoor meetings, the Beach has been hosting small musical performances, yoga, and other open-air activities.
Issaquah’s landscape has several prominent new additions including Rowley Properties’ 2005 Poplar. The four-story office building just off I-90 features a cross-laminated timber [CLT] ceiling and CLT stairs and wall inside a glass-enclosed stairwell.
Occupancy for Rowley Properties’ 2005 Poplar office building is projected for October. The four-story development broke ground on a speculative basis about a year ago. The design, by VIA Architecture, makes extensive use of cross-laminated timber, lowering the project’s carbon footprint.

GLY recently completed construction on a mixed-used office building located at 2005 NW Poplar Way in Issaquah, Washington. First breaking ground in August 2019, the four-story, 70,000 square-foot building is owned by Rowley Properties and is open for tenants beginning October 2020.
