Seattle Cancer Care Alliance’s clinic expansion in the South Lake Union neighborhood will provide cutting-edge treatment options for patients and will have another high-tech feature for those arriving by car: a robotic parking garage—the first of its kind for any medical center in the Puget Sound region, and the first of its size and scale on the West Coast.

GLY + ZGF plan to install a three-level, robotic, space-saving parking garage beneath the upcoming addition to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) clinic in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood. The robotic garage will be the first of its kind for any medical center in the Puget Sound Region and the first of its size and scale on the West Coast.

When Seattle Cancer Care Alliance’s new facility opens in 2022, patients will have a valet-style parking experience without the valet. The facility is installing a 70K SF automated parking garage under its five-story complex, providing a garage that will be both a convenience for patients and a functional parking solution for an odd-shaped lot.

The SCCA Expansion will include a three-level robotic parking garage, the largest in the Pacific Northwest, and one of the largest by scope and scale on the West Coast.

Mary’s Place and Amazon announced the opening of the Mary’s Place Family Center in The Regrade, a one-of-a-kind, permanent family shelter built inside an Amazon office building [Block 21] with capacity for up to 200 moms, dads, and children experiencing homelessness each night.

Amazon and Mary’s Place announced the official opening of the Mary’s Place Family Center in The Regrade. The 8-floor, 63,000-square-foot facility with the capacity to serve 200 people per night and more than 1,000 family members per year is attached to one of Amazon’s new office buildings in downtown Seattle.
