The 111,000-square-foot expansion of Heron's Key adds 48 independent living residences, three duplex-style cottage homes, and enhanced wellness, recreation, and dining amenities to one of Gig Harbor's premier senior living communities. New amenities include a natatorium and aquatic center with a swimming pool and spa, expanded fitness and activity spaces, a creative arts studio, a grab-and-go café, and improvements to the existing campus infrastructure and site amenities.

Working within an occupied campus, GLY is focused on maintaining a positive resident experience through regular communication, thoughtful phasing, and continued access to key community spaces throughout construction. The team partners closely with residents and community leaders through ongoing information meetings and project updates, while implementing environmental protection measures to preserve the campus pond and surrounding landscape.
