Microsoft Campus Modernization | Redmond

A significant step in Microsoft’s journey to modernize workplaces across all regions, the Microsoft Campus Modernization is a complete reinvigoration of a 72-acre site on the corporation’s headquarters in Redmond, Washington. This campus of the future will transform the way employees work, create, and innovate and promote greater collaboration and community. GLY joins a consortium of architects and general contractors in designing and building nearly three million square feet of workspace over the course of five to seven years. GLY’s scope of work includes the four-building Sammamish Village and MEP-intensive Central Utility Plant, which both incorporate sustainable design and building practices to meet Microsoft’s goal of being carbon-negative by 2030. The first of the new buildings will be available for occupancy in late 2022 to early 2023.
