201 Elliott Ave. West Renovation | Seattle

Located on a picturesque site in the heart of downtown Seattle overlooking Elliott Bay, the 201 Elliott Ave West property attracted the attention of BioMed Realty, an entrepreneurial company with a world-class portfolio of life sciences buildings. A host of shell and core upgrades transformed the five-story, 151,255 square foot, 1925 concrete building into a state-of-the-art research facility worthy of Seattle’s scientific community – adaptive re-use at its finest.


Features include a new café, fitness center, restrooms, and common office area. Exterior glazing and skin revisions at Levels 4 and 5 were also completed. GLY concurrently delivered a 64,500 square foot build-out for biopharmaceutical tenant Omeros, whose 15-year-lease included naming rights to the building, which is now called the Omeros Building.
