Expedia Group Announces Plan to Improve Elliott Bay Trail

Trail enhancements near the new Expedia campus will start July 18. In order to make these renovations, bikers, runners and others who use the Elliott Bay Trail will be detoured around the construction site. The waterfront and trail will be friendlier to neighborhood residents and visitors with more areas to access the space and separate paths for pedestrians and bikers. more >

Linden Comansa: First LCL700 in America – Working in Seattle

GLY will use Linden Comansa’s 64-tonne luffer to build the Rufus 2.0 Block 21 project, part of Amazon’s new headquarters. Model LCL700 is the largest luffing-jib tower crane from Linden Comansa and designed to be used mainly in jobsites with reduced space. This is the first LCL700 in North America. more >

Overlake Medical Center is on the cusp of groundbreaking for one leg of its three-phase Project FutureCare campus expansion. Construction for the crux of the project, a new 240,000-square-foot, five-story inpatient tower, is set to begin in May and will offer larger single-patient rooms that will combine space for visiting families as well as state-of-the-art technology.
