From zip-lines to wallabies, there was something special for everyone at GLY’s 50th Anniversary Picnic. Employees, families, and friends spent Saturday, July 22 at Remlinger Farms in Carnation to celebrate 50 years of hard work and unique achievements. GLY wouldn’t be where it is today without dedicated employees in all corners of the company, and the steadfast support of their family and friends.
Here are a few highlights. For more photos, check out our facebook page.
85 degrees = water, sunscreen and breaks in the shade!

One of the biggest hits by far was the zipline. Kids and adults kept its staff busy until picnic shut-down.
Kids stayed cool in the shade with bunnies, a wallaby, goats, chickens and even a Patagonian mara.
No rest for the weary…the caricaturist drew family, couple and single portraits over the course of five hours.
GLY employees braved a dunk tank for a great cause: all proceeds [$1,532] went to Mary’s Place.
Principal Tim Campbell was one of several dunk tank victims. His two daughters gave no quarter!

While the activities, prizes, food, and giveaways were a hit, nothing compares to spending time with co-workers we count as some of our best friends.
